Compostable 8 oz Planet Food Container
1000 per case The Planet Plus line of paper cups and soup containers is designed for use with both hot and cold liquids. Traditionally, disposable paper cups are lined with a thin oil-based plastic coating that prevents them from leaking. Unfortunately, this plastic coating also prevents them from breaking down. Planet Plus cups are coated with Ingeo™ biopolymers also known as PLA made from annually renewable domestic corn. The PLA coating is 100% biodegradable and compostable allowing these cups and soup containers to quickly break down in composting facilities. This biodegradable hot cup is an innovative step in the direction of global sustainability.
Please note, composting is required for biodegradation of these products, and these compostable containers will biodegrade within 120 days in a commercial composting facility.
